Classes for all MBA courses are held over a 10-Week term with classes generally meeting once a week for 4 hours. In between the end of one term and the beginning of the next term there are scheduled break weeks. Students who have experienced the 10-Week term format have been extremely enthusiastic regarding the value of this class schedule for a number of reasons. First, students like the fact that such a format allows them to accelerate their degree completion since the WCU MBA offers four different session of 10-Week terms are held four times per year. Consequently, the motivated student who attends classes two nights per week can potentially complete 8 or more courses per year. In fact, depending on when a student starts their coursework, it may be possible to obtain an MBA degree in less than 2 years. Second, the 10-Week terms format may be especially attractive to students whose company provides tuition reimbursement plans.
