Courtney Glass--Class of 2011
After acceptance into the West Chester University MBA program, I found myself looking forward to classes and enjoying academia more than I ever had. West Chester University’s blended online and in-class MBA options provided me with the flexibility I desired in a Master’s program. The enthusiasm I had to learn new and interesting subjects furnished me with the drive to succeed in class, equipping me with confidence to make a career move.
Half-way through my MBA tenure I transferred into a new Promotional Compliance role within the Pharmaceutical industry. In this role, I find that I am utilizing my MBA knowledge frequently. Whether it’s subtle or discernible, I continually refer to management principals, marketing theories, career development skills, and advanced skills in technology applications like MS Excel. I am confident that my MBA education allows me to see and solve issues from a broader and brighter perspective. And, I know that as my career continues to grow, I will continue to utilize and build upon the foundation that the WCU MBA program has provided to me.
