Admissions decisions are based heavily on a student's MBA Admissions Formula Score.  The calculation of this score includes a student's score on the GMAT.  The instances in which the WCU MBA program will consider not requiring a GMAT are limited to such situations as students who have achieved advanced high-level business or professional certification, such as CPA, JD (passed boards) or MD (passed boards) and students with previous Master's degree that contains a significant quantitative component.  However, a final decision on whether a GMAT is required will be determined by the MBA Program Director.

Students are strongly encouraged to take the GMAT prior to enrolling in courses since the score on the GMAT may affect their admissions status and their course of study.

A student's application for admission will not be considered complete until the GMAT score is received.
